Technical Designer

Fit Technician’s primary responsibilities are to provide expertise in the technical evaluation of fit, design, construction, fabrication, and grading in the manufacture of apparel and to maintain the production time and action calendar.

Originates and maintains a technical package denoting the history of each style. Communicates within the technical package all fit comments and construction issues pertaining to that style.

Fits production garments from 1st fit through pre-production.


Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Illustrator, and Word; 3-5 years of experience in pattern making; industry knowledge of construction terms; detail oriented. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines; needs a high level of communication skills and analytical thinking skills.



Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

HR Generalist/Administrative Assistant 

A leading women’s apparel manufacturing company is looking for a HR Generalist/Administrative Assistant to join the growing team.

The HR Generalist will be responsible for the following:

Payroll –

            Process weekly and semi-monthly payrolls

Recruiting –

            Recruit full-time associates and interns

            New hire onboarding

Benefits –

            Provide benefits information for all employees

            Enroll/remove employees for benefits as changes occur

Coordinate open enrollment meetings annually – collect enrollment forms and update payroll system to reflect the new benefits.

Compliance –

Maintain compliance with federal and state employment and benefit laws and regulations

Familiarity with regulatory issues and handle associated reporting

Administration –

            Complete report/data requests on behalf of associates and the company

Handle filing, clerical, and other administrative duties for the HR department and the CFO

Maintain confidential employee and organizational information

Other duties as assigned

Skills –

Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality

Excellent organizational and planning skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written

Excellent computer and software skills

Experience –

Minimum 2 – 3 years in an office environment

Education in HR Management a plus
